Born and raised in southern Texas, A.W. Richey has always loved telling vivid stories through any form he can utilize. Although his stories are not limited to any particular genre, most of his works are within the science fiction, fantasy, and horror genres. He also gains inspiration from several forms of storytelling. A good example of this would be being inspired by survival horror video games for his horror efforts.
When not writing, he spends his time playing video games, planning pen and paper game adventures for his friends, and watching movies and shows. He currently lives with his wife in their rural home.
